Israel Eliminated Iran's Intelligence Chief Overnight

The Israeli military confirmed today it killed Iran's Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib in a precision overnight strike in Tehran. Defense Minister Israel Katz had announced the elimination earlier, and Israeli sources said they were confident the strike succeeded. Iranian channels initially reported the assassination attempt, and by morning Israeli intelligence confirmed the assessment.

Fox News reported that allied airstrikes killed Khatib, who was linked to threats against President Trump and oversaw global sleeper cell operations. The elimination follows Netanyahu's directive to the military: strike any senior Iranian or Hezbollah official immediately upon identification, without additional approval.

The IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) announced its 62nd wave of missile attacks targeting U.S. and Israeli assets today. Since midnight, the regime sent 7 separate waves.
