President Trump told reporters today that Iran's leaders want to make a deal. He referenced a secret gift: "They gave us a present, and the present arrived today. It was a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money. I'm not gonna tell you what that present is but it was very significant."

Trump said the leadership has changed. "No leaders left. The leaders are all gone! Nobody knows who to talk to. But we are actually talking to the right people, and they want to make a deal so badly." He added: "There won't be any nuclear weapons. Iran has agreed to that."

Asked about the turning point, Trump pointed to the shift in tone. "The fact they're talking to us and they're talking sense." He confirmed negotiations are active, with Marco Rubio and JD Vance involved alongside Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff. Trump described the current moment as "really 'regime change,' this is a change in the regime because the leaders are all very different than the ones we started off with."

Sources told CNN and The Telegraph that Iran does not want to negotiate with Witkoff and Kushner. They prefer Vice President JD Vance.

The Wall Street Journal reported Iran's conditions for entering talks: a guarantee that Israel halts strikes on Hezbollah, and authority to impose transit fees on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. A fuller set of Iranian demands, also per the WSJ, includes closure of all U.S. military bases in the Gulf, war reparations, no restrictions on its missile program, and a guarantee the war will not restart.

IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) Director General Rafael Grossi said talks on the nuclear program may be held in Islamabad in the coming days. Turkey, Egypt, and Pakistan are pushing for a face-to-face meeting within 48 hours. Iran's ambassador to Pakistan told IRNA there are no direct or indirect talks, but acknowledged "friendly countries" are seeking to pave the way.

Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central HQ spokesperson put it bluntly: "The United States is negotiating with itself." On the streets of Iran, pro-regime voices were captured on video chanting and calling on the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) to strike the White House with ballistic missiles.

Hezbollah Fires 40 Rockets as Israel Pushes Toward the Litani

Hezbollah fired roughly 40 rockets into northern Israel over a two-hour period today (March 25). Sirens sounded across northern Israel as attacks continued through the morning. About 10 rockets from Lebanon targeted Haifa's Krayot suburbs. The IDF says air defenses intercepted some, while others landed in open areas. Magen David Adom confirmed no casualties from the barrages, though two people were injured running to protected spaces.

Israeli forces eliminated several Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon, including one carrying an RPG. Troops destroyed a Hezbollah weapons depot and struck fleeing fighters. Golani Brigade forces neutralized an armed operative approaching their zone. The IDF released footage of jets destroying a Hezbollah cell immediately after it fired rockets at troops.

The IDF struck Hezbollah targets across Lebanon overnight, including a southern Beirut command center and fuel stations fueling its operations. A targeted strike was carried out in Beirut's southern suburbs today.

Israel Defense Minister Katz confirmed Israel will continue operations against Hezbollah despite ongoing U.S.-Iran talks. Israeli sources told Yedioth Ahronoth there is no pause planned. Katz declared the IDF has now dropped over 15,000 munitions on Iran, four times more than the Twelve-Day War. "We have entered a new stage in the war with Iran."

The Lebanese Army announced it lacks missile interceptor systems. It also confirmed missile debris found across the country on Tuesday has been identified as an Iranian-made ballistic missile. Nidaa Al-Watan, a Lebanese newspaper critical of Hezbollah, led with the headline: "Terror lair ambassador expelled from Lebanon. The embassy is a hub for military breaches."

Eight Iranian Missile Barrages Since Midnight

Iran fired its eighth ballistic missile salvo at Israel since midnight today. Sirens sounded across Tel Aviv, Dimona, and towns in central and northern Israel throughout the morning. Magen David Adom reported no injuries from any of the eight strikes. One missile reportedly hit near a power plant in Hadera. The Israel Electric Corporation confirmed no damage to infrastructure.

Strikes also hit the Alborz industrial area west of Tehran, triggering fuel fires that lit up the sky. Two blasts were reported near the Jam missile site in Bushehr province. Reports from Iranian opposition say a senior IRGC Navy official, Massib Khataeri, was eliminated.

In Iraq, an airstrike in Anbar province eliminated seven Iran-backed militia fighters and wounded 13, per Iraq's Defense Ministry. An Iranian-backed militia carried out an FPV drone strike on Camp Victory in Iraq, hitting multiple targets including a parked UH-60 Black Hawk. NBC reported that since the start of the war, U.S. military officials compile a daily highlight video for President Trump showing the biggest strikes on Iranian targets over the previous 48 hours.
