Hegseth and Caine: Day 11 Is the Most Intense Yet
SecDef Pete Hegseth held a press conference today (March 10) with one message: today will be the heaviest yet. "The most fighters, the most bombers, the most strikes. Intelligence more refined and better than ever." Iran's missile output has collapsed. The last 24 hours saw the lowest number of Iranian launches since the conflict began. General Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, confirmed Iranian ballistic missile launches are down 90%. U.S. forces have struck more than 5,000 targets and sunk more than 50 IRGC navy ships. Hegseth accused Iran of firing from schools and hospitals. "Like the terrorist cowards they are, they deliberately target innocents, because they know their military is being systematically degraded and annihilated." He called the regime "desperate and scrambling." |

"This is not endless. This is not protracted. We're not allowing mission creep. The president has set a very specific mission to accomplish, and our job is to unrelentingly deliver that. He gets to control the throttle." — SecDef Pete Hegseth |

Caine said forces are targeting mine-laying vessels and Iran's military industrial production complexes. His assessment: Iran is fighting, but "not more formidable than we thought." Secretary of State Marco Rubio outlined the strategy in three parts: destroy Iran's missile capability, destroy the factories, destroy the navy. |

Five Senior Commanders Confirmed Dead
Airstrikes hit Iran from end to end today. Tabriz in the northwest took at least 10 U.S.-Israeli strikes within minutes. Residents in Tehran reported the most intense overnight wave so far, with explosions erupting live on Iranian state TV from Revolution Square. Israeli strikes reportedly hit the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) intelligence headquarters in Qom. Oil storage facilities at Kerman's airport were struck, damaging two planes. The IDF hit an underground IRGC missile R&D complex at Imam Hossein University, the Quds Force HQ, and weapons sites across Tehran. The IAF (Israeli Air Force) identified and eliminated an Iranian missile launch crew in western Iran minutes before they could fire toward Israel. Iran released its burial list today. Among the confirmed dead: Chief of General Staff Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, IRGC Commander-in-Chief Mohammad Pakpour, Ali Shamkhani (National Defense Council Secretary), Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh, and Mohammad Shirazi (Head of the Supreme Commander's Office). The funeral is set for tomorrow at 13:30 from Islamic Revolution Square. Iran is calling the conflict the "imposed war of Ramadan." |
Iran Targets Its Own Neighbors
Iran launched 9 ballistic missiles and 35 drones at the UAE today. None of the ballistic missiles hit their targets. 9 drones got through. The Ruwais Refinery in Abu Dhabi, producing 922,000 barrels per day, halted operations after a drone strike. Saudi Arabia's largest refinery and Qatar's biggest LNG facility already shut down from similar attacks. Qatar's military intercepted a separate missile attack. Qatar's Foreign Ministry said it cannot mediate while being attacked, noting Iran's presidential apology "has yet to be matched by action." Israel took three rounds of Iranian ballistic missiles today. All intercepted, no direct hits, no casualties. Magen David Adom treated people injured on the way to shelters and anxiety cases. Iran's IRGC announced yesterday (March 9) that any Arab or European country that expels Israeli and U.S. ambassadors will be granted full freedom to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Trump responded yesterday (March 9) on Truth Social: "If Iran does anything that stops the flow of Oil within the Strait of Hormuz, they will be hit by the United States of America TWENTY TIMES HARDER than they have been hit thus far." |
Larijani Threatens Trump Directly
Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, responded directly to Trump on X. |

"The Ashura people of Iran are not afraid of your empty threats. Greater than you have failed to eliminate the Iranian nation. Beware lest you be the one eliminated." — Ali Larijani · Iran's Supreme National Security Council |

Trump responded on Fox News when asked about Mojtaba Khamenei: "I don't think he can live in peace." On talks with Tehran: "We sort of don't have to speak anymore, if you really think about it, but it's possible." Russia's Foreign Minister Lavrov called Iran's FM Araghchi, saying Moscow is "ready to assist in resolving the conflict, taking into account the security interests of Iran and its regional neighbors." Germany's Chancellor Merz said he shares Trump's hope the war ends quickly. The Russian Embassy in Tel Aviv advised its citizens to leave Israel. |
Day 11. Iran's missile launches are down 90%. Five of its most senior commanders are confirmed dead. The U.S. and Israel have hit over 5,000 targets while Iran fires at its own neighbors. Hegseth's message: no mission creep, no timeline, no end until Iran is defeated. |
